Demand for sustainable kitchen materials is growing – Outokumpu supplies Circle Green steel to Stala

Outokumpu supplies the Finnish kitchen design and manufacturing company Stala with Outokumpu Circle Green® steel, the carbon footprint of which is up to 93% smaller than the global industry average*. Stala will use Circle Green steel for example in kitchen worktops, sinks, backsplash panels, wall panels and furniture doors.

Outokumpu’s breakthrough product Circle Green helps Stala to meet the growing demand for more sustainable kitchen materials. Circle Green has the same properties, high quality and durability as Outokumpu’s traditional stainless steel, but its production has been optimized to be as low-emission as possible. The low carbon footprint of Circle Green is achieved by using low-emission raw materials, maximizing the use of recycled materials and using only low-carbon energy in the production.
